Pablo Bronstein
Created during a stay in Turin, The Piazza consists of two long strips of tape which transect the floor of the gallery, crossing at the center of the room in a gesture that for Bronstein is the simplest way of marking a place without using an object. The title makes reference to the traditional space for the public performance of citizenship in Italian city-states.
