Ewa Partum
Ewa Partum (b. 1945) was the first artist to stage a documented public performance in Poland. This pioneer of feminist and conceptual art produced the performance Self-Identification in 1980. The performance was also accompanied by a controversial series of photo-collages consisting of her naked figure superimposed on scenes of Warsaw.
