Mladen Stilinović
Mladen Stilinović (b. 1947) is a Zagreb-based, Croatian conceptual artist. Bag-People demonstrates Stilinović's conceptual interest in supposedly commonplace situations. The series of photographs shows us people on their way to work carrying plastic bags which contain their lunch. Photographed from behind, the figures are faceless: standardized bodies and attitudes freeze into a sculptural perspective.
